Asian Inspired Chicken Bowl

The thought process and the chicken bowl creation was minimal. Once again this is a The Fresh Market little big meal deal. All I had to do was come home prep the ingredients that were not included, as well as once over the vegetables a rinse the meat. I must admit that I was a little disappointed when I got home, to relalize I had picked up chicken breast strips instead of sirloin...Although all things work together for our bellies, indeed.

Ingredients
Stir fry vegetables (ie. red onion, peppers, broccoli, asparagus, squash)
Chicken breast strips
Sesame Garlic sauce
Rice
Salt
Black Pepper
Garlic powder*
Onion Powder*
Parsley*
Oil

The Prep
I like to look over my vegetables, rinse, and chop them up into little smaller pieces. Use garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and chopped parsley to season chicken breast strips and set aside.

Cooking
As usual with rice, I used my Crock-Pot Express, on the rice setting with a 1:1 ratio rice to water (broth if you want more flavor).

Since this is an Asian inspired meal, I went ahead and used my electric wok for the chicken and vegetables. Cook the chicken first cook until done, searing on both sides.

Then remove set aside and add your vegetables adding salt and pepper and salt a until tender.
Then you'll add the Sesame Garlic sauce, and chicken to the wok. Allow to simmer down on low for 5 mins, stirring occasionally.
